To further our Citizen Leader efforts, we believe that all service events should be planned, organized, and led by our students.
There are often events that are proposed by students outside of US clubs which would be valuable to the community but need to have support and scheduling assistance. Because we have a number of students who want to run service events they feel are important, we need to have a way to approve and coordinate all of these events for success.
The Community Service Board (CSB) offers a great opportunity to develop leaders and further engage within our community by being strategic in our efforts to serve. The Community Service Board will approve and schedule service events and mentor student leaders for service project success.
